ArtFire.com Partners with Jo-Ann Stores
Leading US Craft Store to join Forces with the Fastest Growing Handmade Venue online

Tucson, Ariz. – As part of their Common Good Program, ArtFire.com, the premier online artisan marketplace, has partnered with Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores to better promote independent artisans and crafters' work and independent artisan businesses on ArtFire.  This partnership is part of ArtFire’s Common Good Preferred Supplier Program, in which ArtFire partners with a select group of suppliers in an effort to mutually promote artisans and provide access to unique special offers and supplier’s products at a discount.  This program creates a total artisan support structure from supplies to the sale of the final product on ArtFire.

Founded in 1948, Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts now has 750 locations in 48 states and reported revenues for 2008 of nearly $2 Billion.  As the nation’s leading fabric and crafts retailer, Jo-Ann Stores work to provide customers with creative inspiration. By partnering with ArtFire.com, Jo-Ann will now also provide their customers  a free co-branded and fully supported venue to sell their work online and share it with the crafting world.
“This partnership will benefit Jo-Ann customers as well as ArtFire members,” Said John Jacobs, President of ArtFire.com. “Our members know the quality and trusted brand of Jo-Ann’s and millions of Jo-Ann customers now have an online marketplace to shop for the work of fellow crafters or start their own artisan business online free of charge.”
