East Grand Rapids Library "S" Project
Back in december 2007 i was at an art show in East Town. It was a normal show, with a steady flow of people. After lunch Dawn from the East Grand Rapids Library asked me about a custom table. She said they wanted it to be 13 feet long in an S shape. This library has recently been remodeled in a modern decor. I shot her a ball park price on the spot, and i gave her a card. Like most interactions at shows I thought it would be a great project, but it may not pan out. That following monday she called to set up a meeting to chat about the table. We met and drew up a design. After going back and forth trying to decide how to draw the design, i decided to make a small model to present to the board...............Well I got the job and I delivered it last week.....here are the finished pictures:

This table is GORGEOUS!!!!
I wish they'd had table's like this when I was a bureaucrat! It's possible not to look anyone directly in the eye if you sat in the right space.
