cloud ring no. 1

this is part of a new series of rings. little circles are clustered together to make a cloud shape on top of the ring. this one is all oxidized sterling silver. it is us size 7.75. 1/8th of an inch (3mm) thick. it stands just over 1/8 of an inch (.75cm) above the finger.
I'm so excited about this new design, available for a limited time in my Etsy shop. Similar to the Heartline Rings I offered last year, this bangle bracelet features a simple design - with a twist. Handformed and forged ( by me!) and either given a bright, tumbled finish or oxidized to a deep charcoal with selective sanding. Big, bold, modern... Organic spheres of oxidized sterling silver contrast with industrial columns of solid brass. A small aqua chalcedony briolette adds balance.

i love the metal jewelry. it seems very "old west" cowboy aesthetic (which i love). maybe it's because the metal reminds me of horseshoes...really beautiful work. and lovely blog as well.
